Married: 1915 St. Louis Catholic Church, Castroville, Medina, Texas, USA

      Faustina’s dad, Paul Christilles, sold Ford cars and tractors and later was an agent for the Mobile Oil Company. Mary was the secretary of his successful fuel business. Upon retirement, he sold his business to his son and traveled with his wife. Their travels included Canada, Mexico, the Panama Canal Zone, and Cuba."Pop", as he was known to all, loved fishing.

Mary Magdaline Mechler

 Born: 19 June 1889 Castroville, Medina, Texas, USA

Death: 3 April 1936 Castroville, Medina, Texas, USA; Buried in La Coste, TX

      Faustina’s mother, Mary Christilles, was a nurse. She got her degree in Hot Springs, Arkansas- Ozark Sanatarium Nursing School. She worked in Arkansas for a while before coming back to get married. She was 30 when she got married. She had two children, Faustina and then nine years later, Paul. She loved being a nurse and was a fine seamstress.
